This Month we’d like to spotlight our fabulous Senior Associate, Meghan R. Buckwalter, Esq.
Meghan truly has a heart for family law, it’s part of why she was selected to the SuperLawyers Rising Stars list. When asked why she chose this field of law, Meghan said, “I decided to pursue divorce and family law because of my desire to help people. I enjoy the human interaction of this area of law. It is rewarding to meet a client at a difficult time in their life and help move them toward a happily ever after. As a part of the legal team at the Douglas Family Law Group, PLLC, I find it rewarding to come up with creative solutions and outcomes for our clients that are unique to their family and best suit their personal goals.”
When Meghan’s not hard at work for our clients, you can often find her spending time with her own family. Her niece Alyssa loves “Auntie and Alyssa” days spent at Barnes & Noble or the nail salon, and her nephews LJ and Alex never fail to bring a smile to her face. Because she runs regularly, Meghan can keep up with little ones in her life, complete a half-marathon, and still find the energy to stretch her creative muscles! Meghan was formally trained to play piano and still plays. If we’re lucky, maybe someday she’ll share some of her favorite pieces.
